“Yes, sir. In which color is the light blinking?”
“It’s blinking in White 1.”
“There are 4 dampers connected to the first White bottle, and 2 dampers connected to the second White bottle, so White 1 consumes more ink than White 2.”
“Yes, I understand. How long can I use it in this state?”
“It depends on the amount of white ink printed, but roughly speaking, I think it would take about an hour.”

As shown in the photo below, the value measured from the outer dimensions is 427.5ml, and if measured from the inner dimensions, it is estimated to be approximately 400ml.
The amount of ink that goes into the main ink tank is approximately 400ml.

Inkjets almost always have a float sensor attached to the main ink tank,
- If the ink level is high, the float is attached to the sensor, so the alarm does not sound,
- and if the ink level is low, the float falls off the sensor, and at this moment the alarm sounds.
- There is a float sensor in each tank, and the alarm sound and blinking light are linked to tell which tank is low on ink.

- The total height of the main ink tank is 70mm.
- As shown in the picture above, the float sensor starts working when the ink level drops below 35mm.
- That is, the alarm will sound from this point.
‘If the total height of the ink tank is 70mm and the alarm sounds at 35mm, doesn’t that mean half of the ink is left?’
Half of the ink is left, but the usable ink is not.
Height of ink outlet from ink bottle
- The height of the outlet where ink comes out of the ink bottle is not located on the floor.
- The outlet is located above the floor, and the highest point is 20 mm.
- That is, when the ink level in the ink bottle falls below 20 mm,
- Ink and air are supplied together to the ink tube.
After the low ink alarm sounds, the available ink is not half, but 100ml.
- At the time the float is activated, the remaining ink at a height of 35mm: 236.25ml
- At the minimum height requirement of 20mm for ink supply, the remaining ink: 135ml.
- From a height of 35mm to 20mm, the available ink is 101.25ml (236.25ml – 135ml)
- That is, 100ml.

The convection method works when the liquid is completely filled from the beginning to the end.
After the ink alarm, if you use more than 100ml, the ink level will be lower than the discharge height of 20mm, and air will come in together.
The ink tube line is not completely filled with ink, but is filled with air in the middle,
and the problem occurs that the ink suddenly falls to the floor during printing, as shown below.
If air enters the damper, the ink cannot be held, and falls to the floor as shown in the photo below.

“Can’t I just clean it and print it again?”
After cleaning, the nozzle test was fine, then start to print, but at first it was fine, but at some point the same problem occurred.
This time, pumping, cleaning, and tested the nozzle. And even after printing, the same problem occurred again.
If air enters the ink line,
You cannot remove all the air in the ink line through cleaning. You can only remove the air in the front, and the air that is not completely removed will go back to the back.
Even with a short pump, you cannot remove all the air in the ink line.
You must pump a sufficient amount of ink until all the air in the ink line is removed.
After pumping, do not stop immediately because the ink is properly supplied, but give it about 30 seconds for the ink to be supplied from the bottle to the head before stopping.
If you use it without removing all the air in the ink tube, the same problem may occur again.
