I. Something you can’t figure out even if you look hard
1. Internet search and visit demo
You can check various things on the Internet, but you cannot know detailed information other than basic specifications.
However, if you visit and have a demo, you can find out the actual printing quality and price information.
2. Still something we don’t know
It is not easy to evaluate equipment stability and ink stability through a one-day demo.
And, for those who are introducing UV printers for the first time, they still do not know whether the equipment is over-spec or under-spec.
The most important thing is AS.
When Ink Tech Co., Ltd. sold JETRIX large UV printers, a Polish friend sent me an email.
“Please, change the AS staff in charge to a our place, he doesn’t understand what I’m saying and only ask me to repeat the basic inspection list, but I already checked everything,”
If the equipment sales company does not know the equipment well, or if the AS staff in charge is too low-level, it can become a really big problem which isn’t big issue.
II. UV Printer Price information

1. Japanese equipment
Even 7 years ago, the printing quality and stability of Chinese equipment were poor, so choosing Japanese equipment was the right choice,
but now, as the quality and stability of Chinese equipment have improved, the cost-effectiveness of Japanese equipment has fallen significantly compared to Chinese equipment.
Since there are Japanese equipment enthusiasts, no matter how much I tell them, they will insist on Japanese equipment,
but now, it seems like it would be a good idea to see Chinese equipment in person and make a judgment.
2. Domestic and Chinese equipment
My personal opinion is that Chinese equipment has been surpassing domestic equipment for a long time.
In my experience working for 11 years at JETRIX UV Printer Development, Manufacturing, and Sales, Chinese equipment has surpassed domestic equipment in quality since 2015,
When I go to overseas exhibitions, more than 80% of the booths display Chinese equipment.
3. A3 size small UV Printer
I hope you don’t buy a cheap printer in the 2 million won range.
It’s a modified desktop printer, and stability is not guaranteed.
Also, many people buy directly from Alibaba, but you should definitely check whether the seller is a trader? Is it a place that only assembles? Is it a place that develops and manufactures?
If there is an equipment problem, they respond once or twice, but if the equipment problem is not resolved, it is not easy to receive after-sales service in the future.
III. Something you shouldn’t miss!!
First, you need to check if the print quality is suitable for the actual work you are trying to do.
There is a representative who bought a Chinese printer and used it for 3 months and did not use it.
The general image came out okay, but when printing a cell phone case, the dots were rough, so he eventually gave up using the printer he bought.
After that, he bought and is using ARTJET.
You must!! check the print quality.
Second, product stability is not easy to check. Therefore, you should check if the AS is smooth.
Depending on the level of the AS staff in charge, the problem may be easily solved, or not.
In addition, the level of the AS staff who worked at the manufacturer and the level of the AS staff who worked at a general distributor are more different than you can imagine.
I think it would be good to check this part and move on.
Lastly, your attitude.
You should study the equipment for at least two weeks or a month and learn it one by one by looking at the manual or blog posts.
That way, the equipment will become easier and you will become familiar with it, so you will not be flustered when a problem occurs and can solve it.
