• Most DTF printers use either XP600 or i3200 print heads; the newer i1600 head is becoming more common.
• In the early days, XP600 heads were widely used, but they had a critical problem: the internal pipes burst after approximately 2 months of use due to the chemical properties of DTF white ink.
• For this reason, i3200 or i1600 heads are now the standard choice for DTF printers.

• Company D and Company T appeared to be manufacturers with nearly identical pricing. Company D provided well-organized information in tabular form and had extensive transaction experience. Company T required a minimum purchase of 3 units but offered no clear justification beyond meeting internal verification.
• Company O was different. Information arrived via email from a third party. Product photos were mostly corrupted, so we searched for the company on Alibaba. The results showed that Company O primarily dealt in consumables rather than equipment — they functioned as a consumables distributor, not an equipment manufacturer.

• Will they respond responsibly if a problem occurs during use?
• Will the print quality be good?
• Does the RIP software allow ICC profile creation?
• Is after-sales service convenient and accessible?

In other words, my top priorities were equipment reliability, print quality, responsive support, and convenient after-sales service. Even at a higher cost, eliminating risk unconditionally comes first.

• The group purchase participants seemed to assume “if a problem occurs, the importer (me) will handle it!” — but as this was my first experience with this product type, I prioritized print quality, product stability, and after-sales convenience over cost-effectiveness.
