ARTJET UV Printer – Thoughts on KOSIGN 2024
I. Chinese partner who visits every year
1. Last year KOSIGN
Nicky, my Chinese partner.
We didn’t meet often, but in November, He came to Korea to see the Kosign exhibition and visit Korean business partners. We have a casual dinner and talk about family and sometimes work, rather than business.
We had dinner together one day during Kosign last year, and the day before he went to China, I visited COEX because he suggested we have lunch near the Kosign exhibition hall.
That’s how we met in front of the exhibition hall,,
“Nicky, did you see the exhibition?”
“There’s nothing to see, I just left after about 30 minutes yesterday.”
“Yeah, now,,, I know someone, so I chatted for a while and just left.”
“Let’s go get something to eat!”
2. This KOSIGN
A representative who uses ARTJET called me today.
“Team Leader, are you coming to Kosign?”
“No. I’m just not going.”
“If you came, we were going to have a meal together, but,”
“I just… I don’t think there’s anything to see.”
“Okay, I understand.”
So I hung up the phone, but I was still curious. ‘Maybe… what’s there?’
I looked online to see which companies were participating,,, ‘Let’s just not go.’
II. I went on a business trip to China for 2 nights and 3 days just last week.
1. Schedule
In order to avoid taking up as much time as possible during the week, we scheduled a departure on Friday morning and an arrival on Sunday afternoon.
As soon as we arrived on Friday, we visited the Laser company factory, and after the meeting, we had dinner with the people in charge.
Then, on Saturday, we visited the Printer company (currently an ARTJET partner) and had dinner.
On Sunday, we returned.
2. Laser company
They were producing various OEM models, and their main customers are the US, Mexico, and Europe.
They showed us cutting directly with a ball screw model in the US RF laser source, and since I am not a laser expert, I do not know what the sample below means.
However, the representative of the laser company that visited with us seemed to approve. (He has been doing lasers for nearly 20 years^^)
The laser source is
- The famous American brand RF is said to be ordered from countries that value cutting quality even at high prices,
- The RF produced in China is mainly for low output, and this is also applied according to customer requests,
- In addition, everyone probably knows about CO2 vacuum tubes,
Laser size is
- It really varies from large to small.
- They also produce soldering equipment,
- They also produce equipment that cuts the paper directly, and a customer using this equipment was making the item below. When we tear off all the paper, it looks like this.
3. Printer company
It was one company, but we visited three places in total.
At headquarters
It was a sample room, and They were testing a special application,
and they were testing various equipment, from small to medium-sized equipment.
Several Factories
Specializing in Textiles
Or single pass large equipment
Or UV flatbed or belt type that we know
In another factory far away,
One factory, only small equipment, we know DTF printer, UV DTF roll-to-roll printer, various small UV flatbed.
And the rest of the other factories are mainly large equipment, packaging equipment

III. And this time KOSIGN
I only saw two companies, but my thoughts are complicated.
The variety of lasers was impressive,
but seeing the Chinese partner company that produces various bulk inkjets,,,,,
I started to think a lot about what direction Korea should go in the future???
I have a lot of thoughts,,, but I have to focus on the field first, so I’m posting the ARTJET price and sales conditions.
