- Anyone using a UV printer and laser cutter who wants to add acrylic bonding to their product line
- Anyone currently outsourcing acrylic bonding and considering whether to invest in their own equipment
- Anyone comparing acrylic bonding machines and wants a real-world cost-effectiveness review
- The 2nd version bonding machine works with both coated and uncoated acrylic — the 1st version had high failure rates with uncoated acrylic
- Equipment price is 7 million KRW (excl. VAT), bonding material cost is 120,000 KRW per kg (Japanese raw materials for uncoated acrylic)
- On-site demo is available — the equipment is compact enough to demonstrate from inside an electric vehicle
- The 2nd version overcomes the 1st version’s limitations: works with uncoated acrylic, bonds up to 9t thickness, and handles widths over 400mm
- 5 units sold in the first 3 months — field verification through actual users is complete
- At 7.7 million KRW (incl. VAT), it offers the best cost-effectiveness compared to competing equipment that is more expensive and larger
I. Representatives Using ARTJET — ARTJET UV Printer Application 26 _ Acrylic bonding equipment ARTJET 2026
The CEO has been using ARTJET UV Printer for almost 2 years. He was very interested in the acrylic bonding equipment released at the previous workplace 2 years ago, but he held off on purchasing for several reasons:
Reason 1: Coated Acrylic Required
The bonding failure rate is lower only with coated acrylic, which is 3 times more expensive than uncoated acrylic. Considering the unit price of product delivery, the margin is too low if you include coated acrylic bonding.
Reason 2: Uncertainty About ROI
Companies of a certain size are already outsourcing acrylic bonding. With an investment of 9.9 million KRW including VAT, the question was “outsourcing vs. equipment purchase.” Since additional sales from acrylic bonding goods were unclear, the 9.9 million KRW investment was a big risk.
Reason 3: Narrow Width and Thickness Limitations
The maximum width was 300mm, and thickness was okay up to 3mm — beyond that, you had to accept some degree of defects.
After thinking about it for about 2 years, the CEO felt the need for acrylic bonding equipment and called:
“Team Leader, I looked at various equipment through the internet, and no matter how much I looked, your equipment seemed to be the best in terms of cost-effectiveness, so I’d like to take a look.”
He did a demo two months ago, and it was delivered and he is using it well now. The 2nd version has been upgraded in many ways:
- Compact design — manufactured simply, does not take up much space
- Lower price — 7 million KRW (excl. VAT), bonding material at 120,000 KRW/kg (Japanese raw materials for uncoated acrylic)
- Works with uncoated acrylic — significantly lower bonding failure rate for both coated and uncoated
- Up to 9t thickness — not just 3t like the 1st version
- Width over 400mm — up from 300mm, with 600mm length (slightly inconvenient but possible for longer pieces)
Another CEO who uses ARTJET was currently outsourcing bonding work. About 3 months ago, a potential customer wanted to see the actual production site, so we visited the CEO’s factory together.
While explaining the ARTJET UV Printer, the acrylic bonding equipment came up briefly:
“Team Leader, it works with uncoated acrylic, and the width and height are fine. If it costs 7.7 million KRW, I should go and take a look.”
The potential customer who visited the site made a purchase decision after K Print. He called right after the exhibition and decided to purchase both the ARTJET UV Printer and the 2nd version acrylic bonding machine.
II. From the Seller’s Point of View — ARTJET UV Printer Application 26 _ Acrylic bonding equipment ARTJET 2026
We tested numerous liquids for bonding uncoated acrylic, but ultimately failed to find an answer. We started selling in this state, and even in the early days there were many inquiries because there was no other place selling it.
The first thing I always told customers was:
⚠️ “Uncoated acrylic has many bonding defects, so you should use the coated acrylic that we supply instead of the acrylic you’re using now.”
More important than the desire to sell is “there should be no problems when it goes out” — so I always mentioned the potential problems first. Most people who heard this on the first call did not contact us again.
After spending over a year like this, I looked into competing equipment from three companies through the internet and demos. All were expensive and took up a lot of space, but I thought they would work with uncoated acrylic.
“Internal verification is only the most basic.”
We started sales after internal verification, and 3 months have passed.
You can visit for a bonding test, or if you don’t have time, you can request an on-site demo.
Since the equipment is simple:
- We can load it into an electric vehicle and go to your desired location
- If you prepare the acrylic to be bonded (printed acrylic + acrylic to be bonded)
- Using the electric vehicle power, we can demonstrate bonding right inside the vehicle
