I was planning to talk about applying UV DTF, but today I’m going to talk about some simple troubleshooting.

 

I. “Hey, why isn’t the touch panel turning on?”

After putting the equipment in, I just held it level and went, but I thought it would be better to check the power, so I connected the power cable and turned on the touch panel, and one of them was fine, but the other one, the touch panel did not turn on.

I opened the touch panel, checked the power, unplugged the cable, and reconnected it, but it didn’t work at all.

Before I even started,, ‘Oh,,, what? Should I check the connections on the back of the board? Should I call China?’

For some reason,, I had a feeling that this setup would not be easy, so I was nervously looking at the equipment, and then I saw that one of the equipment’s emergency buttons was a bit stuck.

‘Oh, that’s right!! The emergency button was pressed during packaging!!’

I had the same experience when I installed the previous equipment, but why can’t I remember it all at once?? Oh, that’s right.

 

II. “Rip security key not found.”   

 

It’s been a while since the Uijeongbu representative contacted me.

I used Sai rip without any problems until last week, but today, it suddenly stopped working, and the Rip lock key is still inserted,
In the case of the CEO, he used a third-party device and then used ARTJET, so there were several Rip graph values ​​to match the color to the existing order, and he was worried that this grpah would be erased,,,

When we first talked, the CEO’s voice was heavy.

 

“I tried restarting the computer and the equipment several times, but it just doesn’t work.. “

“Representative, it’s a problem with the rip software, and it has nothing to do with the equipment,,,, All rip software is registered on the internet, so we can’t use it without the security key.”

“The USB (rip rock key) you gave me is still there when it was installed.”

“Would you like to try plugging the lock key into a different USB port and running rip again?”

After a while,,

“Oh, it works.”

 

III. Our demo equipment_Consumables replaced today

 

 

Except for White, most colors and varnish have nozzle patterns without cleaning, but today, strangely, Magenta came out badly.
Other colors were fine, but Magenta didn’t come out cleanly, so I did the following.

1. Cleaning after Color Ink load. Even so, a few Magenta nozzles came out, so I thought, ‘Maybe it’s blocked by dust?’

 

2. Raise the print head high, wet a cleaning wiper with alcohol, wipe the print head, and wipe it again with a dry wipe, ‘Oh, but the nozzle doesn’t come out cleanly?’
The nozzles were clearly fine, but the stick image wasn’t clean.

 

3. I repeated the cleaning and nozzle pattern again, but it was the same,,

 

4. I lifted the head carriage and looked at the bottom of the color print head, and the nozzle was not clean, and there were many ink drops messily on the nozzle surface.

‘Is the black wiper old and not cleaned?’

I replaced the black wiper, but the magenta nozzle was still not clean.

 

5. I lifted the head carriage again and looked at the surface of the color print head nozzle, and it was messily messy with ink drops as before.

 

 

Here’s the important part.

 

‘Even though I replaced the black wiper, there are still messy ink droplets on the print head surface?’

 

When cleaning, the print head nozzle surface should be clean because it is wiped with a black wiper.
However, nothing happens, and when I pull the print head carriage to the side and look at the print head surface, ink is again formed as if it was not cleaned.
Then. This means that ink is formed on the print head surface during capping.

 

 

The captop is

mainly replaced when ink load is not achieved, but it should be replaced in this case as well.
The captop seals the surface of the print head with spring force and blocks the outside air.

 

For sealing, the black square frame is made of thin rubber.
Over time, the thin rubber material gradually collapses,
and the surface of the print head touches the cloth inside the captop.

 

In this way, the cloth that touches the nozzle absorbs the liquid, so the ink in the damper continues to drip.

 

Then, the magenta nozzle (a specific nozzle that touches the cloth first) pattern is severely lost,
and since the surface of the print head touches the cloth, no matter how much you clean it, if it only touches the captop cloth, the ink will be messy on the print head nozzle.

 

The manufacturer’s recommendation for captop replacement is 3 months, but we recommend replacing it immediately when the following problems occur.
* When ink load does not occur,
* When the nozzle pattern is fine, but a specific nozzle strangely missed during printing,
* When ink is dirty on the surface of the print head nozzle even after cleaning,
* When the color nozzle pattern does not come out cleanly even after ink loading and cleaning multiple times,
