Today, I’m going to answer a question about the problem that Inkload is working well, cleaning well, and White just doesn’t seem to live.

 

I. Problem _UV Printer inkload cleaning works well, but white doesn’t appear

Inkload (pumping) works very well, and cleaning works very well, but the white nozzle pattern does not come to life at all.

I repeat cleaning and inkload for several hours, but the nozzle does not come to life as shown in the picture below.

I thought it would be better if I did a test print, so I did a test print, but the white nozzle still does not come to life.

II. Testing process before troubleshooting _UV Printer inkload cleaning works well, but white doesn’t appear

At first, I thought it was a problem caused by an old print head.

I replaced the head, but the white nozzle did not come back to life.

However, as shown in the picture below, the white is not clean, but it comes out from the entire channel, so I decided that it was not a data-related problem.

Since both the ink load and the print head cleaning were working properly, I approached it with the thought, ‘Is there some kind of deterioration in the white ink itself?’

 

Damper Replacement
It has been 2 years since the equipment was installed, and although the consumer occasionally replaced consumables, it has been a long time, so we decided to replace the damper.
However, there was no improvement even after replacing the damper.

 

Replenishing new white ink
I thought, ‘Has the white ink in the main ink bottle deteriorated?’ and refilled the white ink container with new white ink.
I emptied the white ink in the ink tube sufficiently by ink load (pumping) and tested it, but there was no improvement.

 

‘Is it because of the mixed ink?’

I took out the white ink bottle, cleaned the residue with IPA 99% (alcohol), and then refilled it with new white ink.
But there was no improvement.

 

‘Should I replace the damper again?’
‘Is the white ink that has deteriorated in the replaced damper causing this problem?’

I replaced the damper again, and of course I thought, ‘This is the only cause of the problem,’ but
it was not resolved.

 

I was frustrated because I checked everything for 7 hours and it wasn’t resolved.

 

III. Causes and Solutions to the Problem _UV Printer inkload cleaning works well, but white doesn’t appear

I thought, ‘If I do a test print, it might get better,’ so I just printed even though the white nozzle condition was not good.

When printing, white ink was not printed at all,
so I pressed the Pause button in the middle of printing, cleaned the print head, and started printing again.

The white ink that had not been coming out came out as normal, and it came out like this until the end of printing.

 

However, after cleaning and printing the nozzle pattern after printing, the white nozzle pattern did not appear again.

 

Print Test image again => Pause => Cleaning => Start printing. This way, White comes out properly,
After printing is finished, Cleaning => Nozzle pattern. The white pattern did not come out.

No matter how many times I repeated it, the same symptom occurred.

 

2. One more thing!! _UV Printer inkload cleaning works well, but white doesn’t appear

   

When cleaning after printing, the print head bottom touches the captop and ends, and the nozzle pattern is printed in this state.
When cleaning after pausing in the middle of printing, the print head bottom does not touch the cap, and printing resumes immediately.

When it touches the captop, the nozzle pattern is not good, and when it does not touch, printing proceeds properly.

 

Ink deterioration on the captop

Since the ink load (pumping) and cleaning were both good, there was no need to look at the captop,
and since the damper and main ink bottle were the inspection targets for white ink deterioration, there was no need to look at the captop either.
In addition, through numerous ink loads (pumping), it was thought that the ink residue on the captop was diluted with new ink,

 

In conclusion,
The problem occurred when the deteriorated ink remaining on the captop briefly came into contact with the print head nozzle surface and affected the ink jetting condition.

The problem was solved as soon as the captop was replaced.

V. Summary _UV Printer inkload cleaning works well, but white doesn’t appear

  

When DATA comes out sporadically from all channels,
Inkload (pumping) is good, cleaning is good, but the white nozzle is not working well,

 

It is recommended to proceed in the following order.

• Captop replacement
• Damper replacement
• White ink replacement

 

There are also people like this.

If the temperature is too low or too high, the ink viscosity can change and the ink itself can deteriorate.

The same symptoms can occur in this case, so !!! The room where the printer is located must be maintained between 18 and 24 degrees.

Humidity must also be maintained above 50% to reduce static electricity problems.

Inkload and cleaning were both fine, but the white nozzle did not work, so I suffered for over 4 hours.

They said the office temperature went down to 2 degrees.

I turned on the heater for over an hour and barely managed to restore the nozzle,

but after I left, the temperature was not maintained appropriately, so the white ink on the captop deteriorated,
The person in charge cleaned and inkloaded for several hours and called me,,,,

This is where it was immediately resolved after replacing the captop.

 

For reference, as shown below

If you turn on the heater around the head, it is not good for the head, the board, or the ink lines. Do not do this.
