I. Printer SW installation required files _How to reinstall the printer program

1. Folder created when equipment was delivered _How to reinstall the printer program

When installing the printer, I created an ARTJET folder on your desktop and saved ARTJET-related files and photos.

With these files, you can reinstall the ARTJET software.

Of course, I also saved the Rip software-related files. All you need is the activation code number from the Rip software box, the dongle key, and the USB drive containing the installation program.

As shown in the image below, three files are required to install ARTJET SW.

• ARTJET SW installation file
• Connection program that connects ARTJET SW to the printer (PCs that have already established communication do not need to be reinstalled, but if the USB connection fails, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the program.)
• Config file that stores the initial device settings (SW will be installed without this file, but all settings will be reset to their defaults, requiring a restart, which is inconvenient.)

Here are the issues I remember so far:

• A specific cleaning button wouldn’t work, and reinstalling the program resolved the issue.
• When connecting the software, the USB drive continued to fail to recognize the device. Even after powering the entire device off and on, unplugging and plugging the USB drive, or plugging it into a different USB port on the PC, the USB drive failed to recognize the device. Reinstalling the software resolved the issue.
• If your PC suddenly becomes unresponsive due to old hardware, reinstalling the software is also necessary.

It’s really simple. Just click the image below.

• Unzip the zip file, go inside the folder, and double-click the “Software program.exe” file.
• Click “Created a desktop shortcut” and click “Next.”
• Click “Install.”
• Click “Finish.”

Once complete, the software program will be created on your desktop.

This will take approximately 1-2 minutes.

If you’re reinstalling a printer program on a previously used PC, the following communication programs don’t need to be reinstalled.

However, if the program and printer connection fail, you’ll need to uninstall and reinstall them.

4. ARTJET config file _How to reinstall the printer program

After installing both programs and ensuring the printer software is properly connected to the printer,

Since the installation was initialized, you need to restore the previous settings to ensure proper printer operation and printing of images.

ARTJET can save settings as a config file and load and apply them.

When installed in the ARTJET folder, the previously set values ​​can be loaded and applied.

Loading saved settings is also simple. See the image below.

Menu => config manager => Import file => From the desktop, go to the ARTJET folder. An available file will appear => Select => OPEN

Once the config file has been loaded, turn off the GUI => turn off the power button => turn off the main switch. Wait 1-2 minutes, then turn the device back on.
