Today I’m going to talk about the problem of printing above the flatbed starting point.

I. “Print above the flatbed starting point” _Print above the bad starting point

This is a question from people who aren’t familiar with the equipment, especially shortly after installation.

It would be nice to send photos, but at first, they only contacted us by phone.

 

“when I press print, it keeps printing in the wrong location.”

“Oh, that shouldn’t happen. Could you please turn the equipment off and on again?”

“I did that, but it’s still the same.”

“Then, please try reloading the settings we saved (config file) just once.”

“But it’s still the same. It keeps printing in the wrong location???”

 

 

II. Causes and Solutions to the Problem _Print above the bad starting point

Before, I was talking without a photo, but when I saw the photo, I immediately knew why the problem was occurring.

When printing normally, white is printed in small increments.

In the problematic white print above, all nozzles on the head were printing together.

“Sir, what did you select in the message selection window before starting printing?”

“I selected Yes (Y).”

“You can select No (N) instead.”

“It’s working properly now.”

If you write down the message content,

[ Latest print is not finish, continue to print?]

“The last print job is not finished. Would you like to continue printing from where it left off?”

This message always appears when you stop a current print job and reprint the same image.

 

If you click “Yes”, printing will continue from where it was stopped during the previous printing.

• During printing, ink is jetted from all nozzles.
• Because ink is jetted from all nozzles, a large area is printed.
• Furthermore, the Y-axis position recognizes the current position of the flatbed as the previously finished position, and printing proceeds from the current Y-axis position.
• Since the printer was turned off and then back on, initialization has occurred, and the flatbed is at the zero position.
• When selecting the same image and pressing the print button,
• the message [Latest print is not finished, continue to print?] appears.
• If you press Yes (Y), ink is jetted to the front section of the plate, as shown in the photo below.

 

If you stop printing an image and want to print that image again, you must always press No (N) in the Message below.
