I. Problem _White is sticking out

1. First thing to check _White is sticking out

You need to check the White and color offset first.

ARTJET UV Printer has 6 channels for White.

If the offset is not right in one channel, White may be offset to one side compared to the color.

You need to check this condition first, and you can refer to the following for the precise setting of the White channel offset.

2. Why White Has a Large Area Compared to Color _White is sticking out

Just now, I told you that ARTJET UV Printer has 6 channels for White.

No matter how finely you tune the offset, White will inevitably protrude from under the color for the following reasons.

• White pigment is larger than color pigment.
• White basically falls to 300% (50% x 6 channels), but color does not fall to 100% of CMYK Lc Lm, and in the case of light colors, the amount of ink that falls compared to White is small. Since White falls a lot, the area naturally has to be wide, and for this reason, White will protrude from under the color.
• Since White is not one or two channels, but 6 channels, no matter how well you adjust the offset, White itself cannot help but take up a slightly large area.

3. White Spot 1 choke function _White is sticking out  

For this reason, the Sai rip software program has an option window to reduce the white printing area compared to the color.

You can enter the appropriate value as shown below and click OK.

It may be different for each user, but most people set the basic suppression value to 0.07mm,

and depending on the image, I have seen people using 0.1mm or 0.2mm.

And, in the case of thin hair, White is not printed with suppression of 0.07mm.

Sometimes, people ask, “Why is White not printed?”, so I will tell you.

 

 

4. 0.07mm set value, setting default value _White is sticking out

If you click [Set Default] at the very end, it will be automatically applied to subsequent ripped images.

Adjust it like this. I was confused because it wasn’t applied to existing ripped images,

I’ll tell you again, this value will be applied from new images. It won’t be applied to existing ripped images.
