Driver and basic settings after installing Sai Rip 

Today I will explain the problem of Sai Rip lock key not being recognized.

I. Problem symptoms _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure

1. It worked fine _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure    

The Rip program I had installed and was using successfully stopped running after a Windows update, displaying the following error message.

I simply updated the Windows update message and restarted PC. However, when I run Rip, I get the error message.

I tried both “Yes” and “No”, but nothing worked.

 

The same message also appears in the following situations:

• When running Rip SW without the dongle key inserted.
• When the dongle key is inserted, but the USB port is broken.
• When the dongle key itself is broken.

2. I tried changing the PC and installing it _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure     

I installed and ran Rip on my work PC and another laptop.

The Rip software ran without issue on both.

However, when I plugged the lock key into the problematic PC, I still received an error message and the Rip program wouldn’t launch.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that when I installed Rip on my PC and another laptop and plugged in the lock key, a light came on at the end of the USB port.

 

 

The PC that displayed the error message didn’t light up.

To determine if the problem was with the PC’s USB port, I plugged in a regular USB, and it worked fine.

Ultimately, the problem was that only that PC wasn’t recognizing the Sai rip lock key.

II. Solve _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure

1. Uninstall and reinstall the program _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure

Uninstall the previously installed Sai rip program from the program removal tool.

Reinstall Sai rip. When the following window appears, be sure to check “SafeNet Sentinel system Driver 7.6.7” and click “Next.”

2. Reinstall the driver after installing Sai Rip _Sai rip Lock key recognition failure

Once Sai rip installation is complete, go to “install or delete Programs”,

Uninstall “SafeNet Sentinel system Driver 7.6.7” that was installed together with Sai rip installation.

I’ll install the higher version, “Sentinel_Protection_Installer_7.6.9.”
