Today I’m going to show you how to make equipment button name tags using a UV printer and laser.

I. Acrylic button name tag production process _Making Equipment Button Name Tags with a UV Printer Laser

1. Prepare Ai file _Making Equipment Button Name Tags with a UV Printer Laser

 

Like a standard keychain image, you’ll need four layers:

• A crop mark layer for laser camera cutting.
• A text layer for button function descriptions, i.e., a color printing layer.
• A white spot layer for printing on clear acrylic.
• And a cutting layer for laser cutting.

UV printing is performed first.

In Illustrator, activate only the following three layers and save them separately:

• Activate only the Crop Mark layer, Color layer, and White Spot layer, then save the file.

I could have altered the design to create a more luxurious feel, but the design and processing costs would have been added, so I decided to at least change the name tag.

I changed the button name tag from an adhesive sheet label to acrylic.

 

With the thick acrylic and clean white background, the text was printed.

It gave it a clean, luxurious feel.
