- Anyone who needs remote support but doesn’t know how to install AnyDesk
- Anyone unfamiliar with computers or software who’s unsure whether it’s safe to click through the installer
- Anyone installing AnyDesk for the first time who needs to read out the connection ID to our support team
- Ad pop-ups may appear during the download process — never click on the ad buttons; if it’s not the actual download button, close it with the X and ignore it
- During installation, you can safely leave “Install AnyDesk Printer” unchecked (it’s a virtual printer feature not needed for remote support)
- After installation, read the 9–10 digit number (underlined in red) shown on screen to our support team exactly — this is required to establish the remote connection
- When our team requests access, a “connection approval” prompt will appear on your PC screen — you must click Accept yourself for the remote session to begin
- Search “AnyDesk download” on Naver (or Google) → go to the official download page → download the installer
- Never click ad buttons during download; leave “Install AnyDesk Printer” unchecked during installation
- After installation, launch the desktop icon → read the 9–10 digit ID shown on screen to our support team
- When our team requests access, click Accept yourself on the approval prompt to start the remote session
There are times we need to look at a machine remotely.
Some people install AnyDesk without any trouble, but others don’t, so we’re writing this guide.
If you’re familiar with computers, or younger, this might be easy — but if you don’t have experience with this kind of software, everything feels new,,, and you might hesitate, wondering “is it okay to click this?” So we’ve laid it out step by step.
I. Downloading AnyDesk – How to Install and Connect Remote Support (AnyDesk)
Search “AnyDesk download” in your browser — you’ll see results like the one below. Click the [AnyDesk Download] link.
A window like the one below will open. Click [Free Download].
An ad window may pop up in the middle of this — never click on the ad buttons; just close it with the X. After that, another window like the one below appears, so click [Free Download] again.
It’s a bit confusing why there are so many clicks along the way,,, but just a couple more steps to go.
You’ll now land on the official AnyDesk website, with Windows selected by default. Click [Download].
Once the download finishes, an indicator appears on the right side of the browser window — hover over it to see the folder.
II. Installing AnyDesk – How to Install and Connect Remote Support (AnyDesk)
Open the folder and double-click the file on the left. A permission prompt will appear — click [Allow].
After clicking Allow, a window like the one below appears. Click [Install AnyDesk].
A window like the one below will appear. Leave “Install AnyDesk Printer” unchecked, and click [Accept & Install] in the bottom right.
Once installation finishes, an AnyDesk shortcut appears on your desktop — you can close the welcome window that pops up on the right.
III. Sharing the Connection ID and Approving Access – How to Install and Connect Remote Support (AnyDesk)
Double-click the AnyDesk shortcut and a window like the one below will appear. Just read out the 9–10 digit number underlined in red to us.
For reference, once installed, this number generally stays fixed on the same PC — it won’t change the next time you launch AnyDesk, so you can use the same number for future remote support sessions too.
Once we enter the number you gave us on our end, a message will appear on your PC asking you to approve the connection. Click [Accept], and we’ll be able to remotely control your PC from there.
